A TESTIMONY FROM JULIE CHUA– written in 10th December 2019

(Partner of G to G Enterprise) 

In mid October 2019, my family and I happened to visit a Health Fair which was out of the norm for us (I believe at the prompting of the Holy Spirit). We visited the Breast Cancer Awareness booth and had a go on examining a fake breast with the "tumour" inside. Before the fair, I did a self examination and had felt something but dismissed it thinking it was inflamation of the muscle.

PROMPTING OF THE HOLY SPIRIT

In November, my daughter and I was planning a girls trip and somehow the St. Joseph Cathedral in Hanoi caught our attention. My family had often prayed to St Joseph for his intercession so we flew to Hanoi for a short break. We visited the beautiful old Cathedral and said our prayers there..

 

I FOUND OUT I HAVE CANCER

Upon our return, around mid November, one of my prayers which was for health was answered. I was prompted again to feel the lump and became uneasy. I decided to go for a mammogram which was long overdue. An ultrasound followed which then confirmed a suspicious growth on the right breast. The doctor recommended a biopsy to be done immediately. I was lost and not sure which doctor to consult.

Again I believe I was prompted to call my aunt who is a cancer survivor for recommendation. She then referred me to her daughter who was able to make an appointment with a renowed breast specialist 3 days later (despite her having a long waiting list).

On 25th Nov, I saw the doctor and biopsy was done on the same day. My worst fear was confirmed - Cancer!

I was devastated, thoughts of the worst flooded my mind. "Why me God, what will happen to my children. I still need to be here for them."

GOD WORKS THROUGH HIS EARTHY ANGELS
I was in state of shock and disbelief. On 3rd December surgery was performed. While I lay on the operating table, I was trembling with fear as this was the first time I had gone under the knife. Before I could utter Jesus's name, I was knocked out. Everything went smoothly like clockwork.
All was completed in 8 days. I am blessed to be in the care of a team of efficient surgeon oncologist and nurses who were kind and compassionate. And His army of prayer warriors and my family, friends rallied immediately to support me with their prayers and loving care.

After my surgery, again He gave me this another message via facebook - "Life is a cycle of happiness, sad times, and good times. If you are going through hard times, have faith that good times are on the way".

Praise and glory to God, through His soft promptings, my cancer was detected early, they were non aggressive cells, my lymph nodes were not affected hence no chemo is needd. Radiotheraphy however is necessary to reduce the risk of recurrence.

I am relieved and thankful for these results. Although the road to recovery is a long and challenging one, with Him I will fight the good fight.

In my busyness, I have not prayed at times, and was unable to hear the soft promptings of the Holy Spirit. I relied solely on my own strength thinking I can do everything myself.

Despite my sins and shortcomings, Jesus have not deserted me. He was and is always there, ready to welcome me back. I believe this health issue is a wakeup call to me to slow down, and to trust and put Him first. With Him all things are possible.

With Him, all things are possible

He is ever present, working through His earthly angels. I hope this testimony will provide some comfort and hope to those who are going through difficult times. We just have to pray unceasingly as we have a merciful
and loving God who will keep pouring His blessings even when we are not worthy. God bless us all.
